2023: A Glorious Year In Review

2023 turned out to be an amazing year of writing growth and discovery. A part of that was a sabbatical in Australia and New Zealand, where I was able to escape to visit friends and reassess where I was, so that I could create a growth path going forward that sung to me. It also provided perspective in the forms of different cultures, and different daily flows. Even simple things, like having to drive on the other side of the road, led to discoveries, like this drive to Mount Cook in the Southern Alps.

Looking back, I signed contracts for five stories, four of which were published so far. Additionally, a contracted story from 2022 was released in an eBook compilation For The Men: And The Women Who Love Them Volume 2 by Stupid Fish Productions.

I’m really proud of this. There are human issues keep me from writing consistently. On days when I’m able, the output can range from a mere 50 to a few hundred words, and on that very rare day when the planets align, I’ve gone over a thousand. I’m also caring for a person who’s impromptu needs can overtake whatever plans I may have.

Blanketed over all this is the love and support of my writing and creator “family”. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without their loving encouragement and dogged determination for relative excellence. For that, I am forever grateful.

Here’s a recap:

The Rosy App added:

Banana Cream Pie (MF, couple, expressions of love): Jenna looks upon her exhausted, sleeping husband. Despite her urge to take him, she opts to filling the house with the smell of his favorite dessert. He sneaks up on her and offers his own version, satisfying both their desires.

A Lesson in Sensuality Part 1 (MF, strangers, mentor): Excited to check an item off his bucket list, Rob goes to a nude beach, where sun and surf lull him to sleep. He awakes to see a naked woman that captivates his gaze. Their conversations exposes his youthful misconceptions about women and intimacy. She takes him under her wing and patiently guides him through an afternoon of discovery.

Escape to Discovery (MF, strangers, shaking demons): Jenna has been trying to convince roommate Rayvn to attend the lifestyle club she belongs to, hoping it resurrects her roommates confidence after a difficult breakup. Finally giving into her persuasions, Rayvn immediately feels gratitude as she finds herself in the arms of a stranger and rediscovers her sensual side.

Seasonal Preferences (FF, strangers, musicians): Kendra was ecstatic to discover a treasured audio recording unit at an antique shop. Eager to claim it, she’s devastated to find a raven haired beauty has claimed it first. Their brief confrontation exposes a surprise connection and source of sentimental value they share, and opens the door for deeper, more personal interests to be consummated.

Separately, Stupid Fish Productions released For The Men: And The Women Who Love Them Volume 2, in Amazon Books and Goodreads. It contains Sated Yearning (MMF, bicurious, fantasy fulfillment): Mike and Alex use a sexual fantasy “Yes / No / Maybe” list to spark their love life. She quickly notices a topic that he has too embarrassed to bring up: a desire to have sex with another man. His admission leads her to arrange a hotel meetup with a mutual friend that is very interested in fulfilling his fantasy.

I’ve also posted stories exclusively on my webpage:

My Surprise Dom (MF, strangers, Dom-Sub, four parts): Gary has to bow out of Tina’s sex club murder mystery party, but backs his partner Damian as a fill-in. She finds Damian to be intriguing and playful, and without concern over sexual connection, has a great time with him. The following morning, she discovers her presumptions were wrong, and he is more than available to her if she chooses to submit.

Tender Domination (MF, couple, Fem Worship): A couple’s enjoys integrating their femdom relationship elements into daily life, making for loving, playful, and satisfying intimate exchanges.

Red Panties and Purple Passions (MF, MMF, Fantasy): Indulgent play with alternative lifestyles and an intriguing avatar whets Jay’s appetite for fantasy fulfillment. When Shelley presents the opportunity before him, Jay must decide whether to act or not.

And to finish the year, I just signed a contract with a noteworthy compilation publisher for a delightful story about a couple’s role play fantasy enactment that turns out to be someone else’s too.

Which leads to 2024. Along with submitting individual stories for contract consideration, I hope to release my very own first mini-compilation! I’d compiled stories during 2023 specifically for it. Now it’s time to learn the in’s and out’s of formatting, marketing, and everything in between. Some of this is secondhand knowledge for me, while other elements are brand new, like learning AI-generated art software in the hopes of crafting the perfect image for each tale. It’s another grand adventure of discovery that I gleefully look forward to.

Happy 2024, everyone. Never forget to live the adventure and love the experience.💜
