Surviving Two Seasons of Changes

It’s been quite a while since I posted on my website. Almost two seasons worth, to be exact. A lot has happened during that time span, and it’s been a challenge surviving two seasons of change. Let me catch you up on it.

When I started writing erotica over four years ago, I challenged myself to write content that reflected varied genres and interests as I sought out my voice. A cisgender MF strangers story came first, followed by one in which a married cis male fulfills his fantasy of having sex with another man.

Another early story was about a cisgender married couple, where the wife reclaims her husband and their marriage from the strains of a struggling business in Reclaimed Lust. That was the first of ten stories I sold to the Rosy App, and it consistently ranks among their top five most read tales.

Rosy is a great site for women that is run by a gynecologist, with loads of helpful information, lectures and access to specialists. It also recognizes the value spicy stories can have in stirring the imagination. While I was writing stories of all sorts at the time, the ones Rosy wanted focused on male-female and female-female relationships, which aligned with their requests. The bin of other stories was left for a future location.

Last year, Rosy decided to stop accepting new stories as they reorganized their priorities. That left me with dom/sub, femdom, and other content for which to find a customer. It was also around that time when a dear friend and mentor was encouraging me to write multi-chaptered stories, or a series of stories around a certain theme.

I was working on a few of those when I was asked to join a new venture as a founding author, Theo Reads. Theo offers stories ranging from pure romance to anything you could imagine. Users have access to free and paid content that ranges from quickies and shorts, to multi-chaptered and novels.

I signed on and uploaded the first ten chapters of a novella entitled A Second Chance at Submission. The story is about a man who has his first femdom experience while out of town on a temporary assignment. Months later, a permanent opportunity arises in the same location. He takes the offer, then contacts her, only to find that she is living with a new boyfriend now. He’s devastated by the news, but chooses to move anyway. What happens next is, well…worth reading about.

I also upload some free short stories for your enjoyment:

Tender Domination: Mark and Jenna are loving life partners who have an isolated property that lets them be playful and adventurous with sex and intimacy, with Jenna controlling the decisions on when, where, and how. One this day of rest on a porch swing with a breeze, she calls for adoration, and he yearns to be praised for his efforts.

Cart Girl Tryst: Moving to a new house in the hills, a college student takes a job at a private golf course for extra money. She soon finds herself drawn to Gerry, one of the handsome, confident regulars. Despite her initial reservations and the risks involved, she cant resist the magnetic pull between them. One heated encounter in a secluded washroom leads to a passionate and intense connection, leaving her craving more.

Airtight: Liam and Lisa enjoy exploring sexual fantasies, whether alone or at sex parties. Tonight, they will indulge themselves in combining Liam’s expansion into bisexual play with Lisa’s gangbang pleasures by becoming submissives to five male play partners.

Eggs and Cream, another rewrite of an early. Laurie and her partner share a deep, satisfying connection together. That extends to the dates she has, as part of their hotwife and cuckold dynamic. This morning, she returns from an overnight playdate, intent on sharing the rewards with him.

All of these have appeared in other sites, and thus are offered for free in Theo. Additional stories, both paid and free, are queued up for release there in the near future.

You may have noticed a trend of female domination and male submission here. I’ve had a great time exploring all sorts of tropes and themes, and look forward to writing about them all as time goes by. The constants in all of my writings are human connection, respect for boundaries, and trust.

And then there’s Queenie and Little Dick, a novella I was writing and have since completed. Here’s the teaser:

Temptation will no longer waits for Richard, as his twists and tugs leads to a deeper revelation of his fetishes and desires to his wife Gayle. Armed with this knowledge, and buoying by interests of her own, she leads them on a salacious journey that will put him at a crossroads from which there may be no turning back.

It is in the process of formatting and getting cover art for release as a paperback and eBook. Truth be told, it was ready for that three months ago, but IRL issues and other writings I do have delayed that.

If you’ve been following my posts, you’ve heard me say what a slow writer I am. That’s still true, and will never change. I like to think of it as the slow nurturing of my ideas into fully formed salacious delights. Like slow-cooked meals, I hope to can savor their bone-dripping richness as much as I do.

There have been plenty more things going on in life. Some of it, like writing about life and its diversity, have gone well. Other things, like IRL stresses, have been taxing, and I’m in desperate need of reclaiming my physical conditioning, at at times, sanity. Luckily, there are people I can lean into that get me through.

Readers like yourselves are also an important part of that. I greatly appreciate the feedback you provide, good or bad, as it all feeds into the circle of life and keeps it from becoming a consuming maelstrom. As always, you can comment and find more at ramonequides.com

Happy spring, everyone. If you’re in the northern hemisphere, welcome to growth and possibilities. If you’re in the southern, savor the bounty of the seasons. There’s something for everyone.
