DIVERSIFYING, WRITING AND LYRICAL WHIMS

It doesn’t take much for my bipolar mind to wander during this time of year, as stresses pour in from all sides. Fortunately, next month’s online lifestyle event, holiday tunes and tequila resulted in nights of whimsical lyric creation and furious writing. The latter means I have plenty of stories to entertain you with in 2023.

But first, a happy December wish to all. Tis the season of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Bodhi Day and more. Of Sinterklaas and Yuletide Lads, Las Posadas and Boxing Day. All share the common theme of celebrating each other and things that bring us together. A time of joy and love.

Thanks to the real and potential impacts of a really rich guy buying and manipulating a popular social media platform it’s also a time to diversify my content locations. This, and other life adventures, have preoccupied me and kept me from finishing a blog post for December. The good news for me is that my post for January is done and ready to use.

So why not just post that one now? Because it’s related to a cuckolding story I’d posted on another site, and the diverse responses it received. It was influenced by the amazing people who pulled off CuckWeek in January of 2022, which brought together purveyors, scholars, writers and practitioners for an inclusive event celebrating cuckold and female led relationships. There’s an effort to do it again during the last week of January, so that post will wait until then.

However, mulling over and writing content for that event while hearing holiday tunes and performing winter clearing of shrubs and trees took my quirky brain into fun places, resulting in revamped lyrics of some popular Christmas carols. Here are two of them for your bemusement.
